“My passion for football was to endure the hard challenges that football gave me. The first challenge it gave me was learning how to tackle somebody. The first game we had, I was very nervous about screwing up. The first chance I had to tackle somebody I exactly screwed up and pushed him instead. But I used my mistake and tackled the wide receiver for a loss of yards, and after that I was very hyped. Before all that i felt like quitting because the practices felt really intense and the conditioning was very tiring. Yet I told myself “that I could do it” and endured the conditioning. After that challenge I felt accomplished about doing the challenge and knew that this sport was meant for me.”
